iCloud Bypass with CHECKRA1N – Step by Step Tutorial

By | November 17, 2019

We now have an iCloud bypass for all devices, from iPhone 6 to iPhone X, using Checkra1n and it is a fully functional untethered bypass! You can restart your device, in fact, you can even erase all content and settings and your device will still be bypassed. You will never see this ever again, so without much further ado I’m gonna jump right into this using Checkra1n, so huge thank you to the Checkra1n developers for releasing that utility as it would not be possible without that so let’s just jump right in.

This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for for so long and it has finally arrived!

iCloud Bypass Step by Step

  1. Download the tools needed for the iCloud Bypass
  2. Put iPhone in DFU mode
  3. Exploit device with Checkra1n
  4. Run iCloud Bypass software in Python
  5. Enjoy!
  6. Restart / Erase data whenever you want!

I’m gonna show you guys exactly how to do this bypass step by step in a tutorial that should make sense and be easy to follow so let’s get into it.

Download the tools needed fo the iCloud bypass

All you need to do is go over to AppleTech752.comm and here you’re gonna see the Checkra1n iCloud bypass package, go ahead and click on that and it will take you over to a Mega page and once you’re here all you have to do is click on the download and it will download it to your downloads folder.

Now all you have to do is bring it out to the desktop and double click it to open it. Go ahead and open it up and these are all the tools we’re gonna need for the bypass so this first one here is the Checkra1n installer. If you do not already have Checkra1n installed then go ahead and double click this and install Checkra1n.

iCloud Bypass

There is also a Python installer it is absolutely essential that you go through this installer if you do not already have Python installed on your computer. This is the latest version (as of this article) 3.8 so even if you do have Python already, I would recommend just running this so that you have the updated version.

Put iPhone in DFU mode

You should be all set now so these are things we’re going to use later on in the iCloud bypass so I’m just going to set this aside for now and go ahead and launch Checkra1n. Once checkering is open we’re going to want to plug our iPhone into the computer and it’s gonna detect it in normal mode but we’re gonna actually need to be in DFU mode for this to work.

In order to enter DFU mode hold the power button for three seconds then hold the home button until you see the screen turns black, then wait for about three seconds and then let go and. This should effectively put your device into DFU mode which Checkra1n loves and we’ll use to exploit.

We’re gonna just click on start and this may not work the very first time if your device boots all the way up and Checkra1n says failed or whatever, you’ll just have to enter DFU mode again and try one more
time.

Exploit device with Checkra1n

iCloud Bypass Checkra1n

Go ahead and open up Checkra1n as we are connected in DFU mode. Just say start and we’re all set. This time we’re going to see the verbose boot. This is the lovely Checkra1n exploit that goes all the way through from
the boot ROM to the kernel to everything. We are fully exploiting our device at this point so yeah, just let it do its thing and it should be done in just a second, so it says all done up here.

Run iCloud Bypass software in Python

We’re gonna go ahead and set the check rain utility aside for a moment and at this point, we’re going to open up a program called Python launcher. Another way you can do it is to go directly in the iCloud bypass software package and go to the file TCP relay.pi and right-click it and say open with python launcher.

This is the better way to do it actually if you haven’t used Python launcher before so just go to this file and say
open with Python launcher and at this point, you will get two terminal windows that will pop up.

iCloud Bypass Python

You’re gonna want to get rid of the big preferences pane and just get down to these two terminal windows and at this point, you’ll see another file here called commands. It should be a rich text format. Just open up commands and this is a list of all the commands you’re gonna need for this procedure.

Go ahead and copy the first one by doing Command C and paste it in the text-heavy terminal window. The
window with more text basically that’s where you paste it and at this point, it’s going to forward that information
to the other terminal window so think of this is kind of cool like two sides of the equation we need to basically set up this terminal window for the other terminal window to work.

So now that we’ve set up this one we’re just going to leave it aside and move on to this main one where we’re going to be doing all the good stuff.
So now we can copy the second command. Copy and paste and hit Enter key. it gives us a yes/no prompt here.
I’m just gonna say yes and now it’s going to ask us for a password. The password is alpine and click enter and now we’re gonna see this -bash-3.2# and if we’ve done it totally correctly then this is perfect! This is exactly where you want to be at this point.

The device is still on the activation page and still an iCloud locked device.

The next thing we need to do is just paste copy and paste the next command here and now we’re gonna do the next
one which is echo with some parentheses and mount read-write copy that you need to paste it in here and hit enter and yet we’re just going through these commands a bunch of stuff we have to do and eventually, we’ll get to the
bypass now that we’ve done.

All you have to do is this next command copy and paste and now click enter and every time after the command is keep going at back to the -bash-3.2#, that’s exactly what we want.

We’re just going to keep going. The next one is going to take a little bit longer because it has to actually do some stuff to the device so let’s paste that there and click enter even if this is taking a little while, don’t continue, wait until you see the -bash-3.2# and our device just turned off right here and it appears to be on the springboard.

Now all we’re gonna do is stay till all back and click enter and at this point, the device is going to respring and go directly to the home screen.

Guys this is it. Enjoy!

We are iCloud bypass! Check it out we are literally on the home screen with all the applications working.
I’m gonna go into the Settings app right now and show you that there’s no iCloud. We are in the device and it is a full bypass at this point we’re done with the computer.

iPhone

Pull out the USB cable and we are going to restart the device and it is still going to be iCloud bypassed.
We still have the Checkra1n right here that may disappear eventually but guys this is the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen. It’s going to work for any device so if you have an iPhone 6, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 or iPhone X with any iOS version, just update it to the latest one and it will always still be working with the Checkra1n so yeah, this is it.

I really hope you guys enjoyed the process. This is the best bypass ever to be released, so please if you enjoyed it, go ahead and share this article around because there are so many people out there with locked devices and we want everyone to be able to enjoy this and get their devices functioning as normal iPhones.

Until next time guys enjoy the bypass, check our related topics and share the post around and peace out!

I’ve used this once and it worked perfectly but at my third time now it says permission denied when I paste the second command please help I’ve tried many things but it doesnt work and now my iphone is locked

  2. Retired

Tried this method using iOS 13.3 and the Home button stops working. Cannot go in to the iOS device. Reloaded the iOS device using the firmware and tried again, same issue.

  3. iHACK242

A fix to your issue us to clear the known_hosts. This happens because another fingerprint is associated with the device ID. Just enter “rm .ssh/known_hosts” and that should resolve your issue.

  5. sophia

it is not possible to add a new icloud account, it gives an error when entering a new one.. “unable to sign in because of a problem communicating with icloud”, try signing in again..

    wifi work perfectly..
    no cellular network work..
sim detection work, but can’t do any call… only emergency calls
