The Chinese PanGu team have brought out the new iOS 7.1.2 free untethered jailbreak, releasing PanGu 1.1 update for both Mac and Windows, which is pretty exciting news for the jailbreaking community.
The great news is that PanGu 1.1 provides support for English text, making it so much easier to complete the jailbreaking process. In addition, it gets rid of the unnecessary check-box in the setup where accidentally downloaded pirated software could damage system performance and stability.

- Before you proceed, make sure your iOS device is noted in the jailbreak compatibility section.

How to Jailbreak Apple Devices Running iOS 7.1.2
Step 1: Download latest version of PanGu jailbreak for Windows or Mac from official website.
For Mac users: Double-click on the PanGu dmg file you downloaded, to mount it.
For Windows users: As an Administrator, launch the PanGu exe file. Next, right-click on PanGu.exe and choose ‘Run as Administrator‘.
Step 3: You’ll see a screen like this one below. Click the black jailbreak button.
Step 4: Continue following the on-screen instructions. At some stage you’ll be asked to set your iOS device to 2nd June. Do this by going to ‘Settings, General, Date & Time‘.
Step 5: After the date has been changed, the process should restart and the PanGu app will be installed on your iOS device.
Step 6: To continue with the jailbreak process tap on the PanGu icon on your device’s Home Screen when prompted. You’ll see a warning message from Developer iPhone Distribution, asking if you’re sure you want to open the Application ‘PanGu‘: Hefei Bo Fang communication technology co., LTD?”. To continue with the process of jailbreaking, tap on the Continue button.
Step 7: Be patient while your device reboots several times. You’ll soon notice that Cydia is now on your Home Screen: you’re ready to begin installing tweaks on iOS 7.1.2. Don’t forget to go back to re-set the time via Settings.
