The Italian developers, Luca Todesco and Marco Grassi recently released a new version of the Yalu tool that has support already for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Jailbreak running iOS 10.1.1. This is a beta version of the software and offers a semi-untethered jailbreak, meaning that you need to run the App every time the phone is restarted. But the software authors promise that they are working hard to bring new features to their tool.
It is also to be noted that this tool requires a little bit of skills for installing third party Apps to your iPhone from your computer, AND, this operation needs to be repeated every seven days as the Yalu App certificate expire after that period. If you are looking for an out-of-the-box solution similar to what PanGu offers, you'll need to wait a little bit more, but if you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty, this solution might be good news for you.
By When Full Support for iPhone 7 Jailbreak
Marco Grassi, one of the developers of Yalu tool, recently tweeted they they are working on a solution the the seven day certificate issue and he is requesting us to "bear with Cydia Impactor for another week or so", Cydia Impactor being the software that allows IPA file installation from the computer. Within a wee we can expect that Yalu 102 to be out of beta, but we don't know for sure if it will still only work on iOS 10.1.1 or newer versions as well, however, the developers have also stated that they are working on iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3 beta on iPhone 7 as well.
Be Careful About the Download Source
Be warned that by using third party Apps from unknown sources can easily brake your device and / or install unwanted malicious software beside the desired App. You should only download Yalu 102 from the official download page. Well, if we can even call it "official".
Risks of Jailbreaking iPhone 7
We do understand that offering the possibility to make extra tweaks to the system is one of the reasons why one would want to Jailbreak their device, but this is something that people is usually doing the their older devices like iPhone 5 or 6 so they can have some fun with them. However, there is a high chance that your iPhone 7 to be still covered by warranty and performing a Jailbreak to your iPhone 7 can totally void that warranty! This is definitely not something that Apple is supporting and you should have this in mind if thinking about the jailbreaking your device trough any tool like Yalu or PanGu.
When perform this operation your iPhone might be bricked (entering to a state where it cannot boot) and you should definitely know how to wipe and have a clean installation because the warranty for sure will not cover such scenario.
